ABOUT BLAKEY IRISH DANCE SASKATCHEWAN
We have studios in both Saskatoon and Regina, with classes for dancers ages 4 - 24. Beginner to Open Championship levels.
Our classes start with traditional Irish Dancing basics. Dancers are encouraged to explore rhythm and music and movement. Beginner classes are offered on a recreational basis, and dancers are invited to perform on St. Patrick's day and at a family year-end show.
Competition opportunities are available as dancers progress.

Barbara Blakey O'Brien - Blakey School Founder
BLAKEY SASKATOON DIRECTOR - LUANNE SCHLOSSER TCRG
Luanne obtained her TCRG certification in 2005 and under the mentorship of Barbara Blakey, assumed the role as Owner/Director of the Saskatoon branch of Blakey. In 2010, she expanded our teaching area to include the Regina branch. Luanne enjoys teaching all levels of solo and group dancing at the Saskatoon and Regina locations and as a guest workshop teacher at the other Blakey classes in Western Canada. She also enjoys creating contemporary showpieces.
Outside of the studio, Luanne works as a lawyer and registered trademark agent, and has a practice focusing on Corporate Law and Governance, Commercial Law, and Intellectual Property and Information Technology law. She is the owner of Piper Rose Studios Inc., a studio space in Saskatoon and The Hive in Regina, spaces created to foster creativity in dance, fitness and other art forms. Luanne and her partner Michael reside in Saskatoon and love traveling to Irish Dance events globally.
